The field of computational geometry has traditionally focused on (combinatorial) computational problems on well-defined geometric inputs. For the most part, this has ignored the fact that real-world data is typically full of imprecision and errors. This workshop will study the implications of imprecise input data on computational geometry problems and their underlying combinatorial structure.
The reading list for the workshop is now available and contains a brief introduction and (incomplete) list of relevant papers. Each workshop participant is expected to bring an open problem related to the topic of imprecise data.
The workshop will be held at the NICTA University of Sydney Campus on the 5th floor of the USyd IT building on the corner of Shepherd and Cleveland streets (map).
